The Utah Insurance Department has proposed amendments to two rules and is repealing a third:
- R590-164, Uniform Health Billing Rule, is being amended to bring the standards in the rule up to date with standards that are already in use by industry.
- R590-271, Data Reporting for Consumer Quality Comparison, is being amended to require insurers to file their quality reports with the Insurance Commissioner, rather than the Utah Health Information Network.
- R590-260, Utah Defined Contribution Risk Adjuster Plan of Operation, is being repealed due to the dissolution of the Utah Defined Contribution Risk Adjuster Board.
